Family

Yesterday seven of us journeyed to Cincinnati in three vehicles braving weather resulting from Tropical Storm Alberto that extended an anticipated six hour trip to nine hours including an unscheduled stop at an Applebee’s to seek shelter from the storm. Now we’re enjoying a leisurely breakfast and have received word that three more family members will be joining us in time for a lunchtime rendezvous!

Our recent travel misadventures seriously curtailed our time in Rome pre-cruise but we did get to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel before making the trip to Civitavecchi for an overnight in the port city of Rome preparatory to departing on Allure of the Seas tomorrow.
