Everybody Loves Truman

2018 Northeast, Family, Road Trip

Our next door neighbor arrived yesterday evening and we got to meet Patrick, Patty, and Truman of Travels with Delaney fame live and in person. We’ve been following their video blog since shortly after they purchased their T@B 400 in late December. We’d corresponded a bit but hadn’t yet met. They are as delightful in person as they are on their vlog and Truman, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy is even cuter in person. He was so excited to greet us through the open window of the camper this morning, so full of life while the rest of us are still trying to wake up. Fortunately there’s Wall House Coffee waiting for us at the pavilion here at Winklepleck!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
