Wow! This has been on Our List for ever so long. We’re at Dinosaur National Monument in Utah! It’s another of those places where we must come back! This time we arrived just after two busloads of Roads Scholars so it was crazy busy. We took the tram up to the quarry where Earl Douglass first excavated dinosaur bones for the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh and marveled at the incredible density of fossils. We got to touch real fossils in- situ. It was incredible to see so many dinosaur bones all in one place!

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
