After breakfasting on some of the amazing eggs we got at Saturday’s farmers market, relaxing in camp a bit, hobnobbing with a fellow tiny trailer traveler, and breaking camp, we headed out in a southerly direction.

We crossed the river at Brandenburg KY which brought back a flood of memories for Karen from the years when her family lived in nearby Pleasure Ridge Park!

We got a delightful waterside site at an Army Corps of Engineers campground after passing one that was already closed for the season. It’s such beautiful weather now that it’s hard to realize how cold it is likely to get soon. For now though it’s pleasant to enjoy the view of the sunset from our lakeside chairs and nosh on simple food prepared in our T@B kitchen.

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
