Mill Creek Campground

Road Trip

This morning we dismantled our soggy camp at Buckeye Lake, hitched up the T@B and moved on stopping for provisions at the Kroger in Hebron. We traveled some familiar highways until we were northeast of Canton eventually heading into territory we’ve not yet explored. We’re at the Mill Creek Campground on the shores of Berlin Lake outside the small town of Berlin Center more or less between Alliance and Youngstown. We grilled up enough meats for several meals and organized our groceries but have done minimal set up so far preferring instead to sit and read and enjoy the cool of a summer evening in Ohio!

Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park

It was at Bletchley Park that the Allied Codebreakers deciphered German military messages during the Second World War. A free guided tour gave us a good overview of the campus and the activities that occurred here from 1938 to 1945.

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

Fenton House and Spaniards Inn

A lovely way to spend a Sunday in Hampstead. We visited the historic Fenton House to view lots of lovely collectibles, to listen to and learn about harpsicords, and to tour and linger in the garden before heading off to the historic Spaniard’s Inn for a most delectable Sunday Roast.
