We opted to stay put most of the day. Set up chairs in the woods behind the T@B and just relaxed. Bits of sun filtered in once in a while but mostly the day was gray. We did some walking around the campground but nothing strenuous.

Late in the afternoon we climbed into the truck and made a short drive to the Kalaloch Rangers Station for a pleasant conversation and a little more information then to Kalaloch Lodge Restaurant where we had dinner reservations. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a fabulous view, libations, a Pacific Cod dinner,  decaf, and a most delectable Peaches and Cream dessert.

Then of course we needed to go for one more walk on the beach!

Cape Town: African Wildlife Adventures

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
