When we made the appointment, we’d forgotten that today was a holiday and that there would be a parade in downtown St Petersburg but Tony agreed to meet with us this morning. It’s always good to have the opportunity to use him as a sounding board for our future plans. It’s also nice to gaze out at the view of the downtown waterfront! Â Afterwards the two of us noshed on a light lunch at Old Northeast Tavern, an old stomping ground of ours, and had a great shopping experience at The Sundial in downtown.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
