With ice crystals on the deck, a forecasted high of 35°F, and no reason for us to be out on the roads, it’s another good day to hunker down inside. We’ll continue to work on organizing and labeling the digitized versions in Dropbox of the vast trove of photos from Karen’s family through the decades. Also we’ll work on organizing, scanning, and minimizing, our own collection of photos and memorabilia. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll head into town for some scheduled preventative maintenance on the truck and to restock the larder, then carry on with our projects.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
