When we’re on the move it’s hard to stop for every great photo op so we resort to shooting out the windows of the truck. Sometimes they turn out well, especially with a bit of cropping, but most are not worth keeping. Today’s one of those days, we’re making the drive from Bend, Oregon to Klamath Falls in southern Oregon thinking of the things we need to accomplish before we head into Lassen Volcanic National Park’s Manzanita Lake Campground for four nights off grid, far from grocery stores. So we’re buzzing past great scenery and even an opportunity to do a quick Crater Lake visit in the interest of a longer richer stay at one of America’s lesser known national parks. So we’re enjoying the scenery through the windshield and have gotten a few decent drive-by shots.
Bletchley Park
It was at Bletchley Park that the Allied Codebreakers deciphered German military messages during the Second World War. A free guided tour gave us a good overview of the campus and the activities that occurred here from 1938 to 1945.
