It’s the annual Bella Vista craft fair extravaganza weekend and we have Sharon and Mike as our personal guides. First stop was the annual Methodist Men Pancake Day. What a fun community event. Excellent pancakes and accompaniments served with a sense of fun. We made a trip to the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel, a most inspirational spot and found a geocache too! Think Mike and Sharon might just have caught the geocaching bug! Then we headed to Spanker Creek Farm for their arts, crafts, and more festival. We’ve made a couple of purchases, snacked on loaded grilled potatoes and funnel cakes and are now pausing to catch our breath even as the shopping continues around us.Â
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
