Site 52 here at Indiana Dunes State Park was going to be great for watching tonight’s eclipse. We set up our chairs with a beautiful view of the Harvest Moon in a clear sky at about 7:20PM Central. In about 20 minutes the clouds started moving in. Two hours later we’re ready to give it up. The cloud cover is so thick there’s no clue as to where in the sky an eclipse may or may not be happening. Guess we’ll just have to tune again next time! Eighteen years?

Does look like a good sky scene for a Halloween night!

All Because of an Eclipse

It was a fabulous opportunity to not only view the 2024 Solar Eclipse from within the path of totality but also to enjoy a five day weekend with friends from the T@B trailer community at Ohio’s East Harbor State Park on the shore of Lake Erie.
