Just as we were ready to commence preparations for bed we decided to go out and look at the clouds one more time. To our surprise the eclipsed moon was peeking through the clouds.  We watched the orb of night emerging from Earth’s shadow for about three minutes before clouds obscured the view once again. Though we didn’t get to see the whole show, we were glad for a bit of a peek just then!

With a UNESCO World Heritage Site, two national parks, dozens of museums, and hundreds of tours offered in the Cape Town area there is more than plenty to do. For our two day visit we opted to concentrate on African wildlife visiting the Aquila Private Game Reserve and the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony for a wonderful chance to these fabulous animals in their own habitat.
